Raz Kid forms came home today! It is an online reading program for your child. Follow the steps to login at home and your child can listen, read and take a quiz for many books. This will help your child's reading progress through the year. We will also be doing some Raz Kids in the classroom. If you need any help logging in, please let us know!

This afternoon we finished our Science Rainbows! Ask your child what we did to make all the colours of the rainbow.

Looks like it's going to be cold next week. Please bundle up warm!

Note from Mrs. Mesheau and Mr. Sadowsky (our PE teachers)

On January 11th all grades will be starting our gymnastics unit. This will run for 3 weeks with the final week being mission impossible. As there is a higher risk for injury, this is a zero tolerance unit. Any students performing any activities in an unsafe manner or causing distraction to others will be removed from gymnastics and given an assignment to complete at a desk in the gym instead. In extreme cases where the safety of others is at risk, students will be removed from the gym.
We do perform some activities which involve heights and tell the students to only climb as high as they feel comfortable with. There is no penalty for not making it to the top.

For this unit we ask that students are wearing appropriate clothing to allow for movement and safety.
No dangling ear rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches or rings.
Long hair is tied back
no loose open clothing such as unbuttoned shirts or open hoodies.
Don't wear pants that are too tight
Don't wear dresses, or skirts
No boots, heels, sandals or dress shoes.
